Dora
(right and below) is an all around wonderful loving
dog that is looking for  a moderately active home.
She can live with another dog in the household but
probably not with a cat. Dora is good with children
and would make a great companion for almost any
household. She loves her plush toys, to chase balls
,
play with other dogs or just hunker down for a
good snuggle.
Dora is around one or two years old,
vaccinated and spayed
, weighs around 50 pounds
and stands 22" at the shoulders.
Flora(right) is a high-energy spayed female Golden X
of about one year of age that needs a home where she
can receive plenty of activity, basic obedience and a
strong leader.  Flora has an obsession with rocks which
could eventually harm her teeth, so she will need to
learn that there are more interesting things to fetch.
She is a lovely girl just learning the basics of training
but will need a home where she will receive continued
guidance.  Applicants for Flora must have previous dog
experience.
Bella - Special Home Needed
is a one to two-year-old spayed female mixed-breed dog that was
rescued as a stray with puppies. All her puppies have been
adopted and Bella is looking for that special someone to help her
overcome her lack of confidence for people. Bella is currently
living with 8 other dogs, males and females, and plays well with
them, except for occasionally being bossy, usually over food.
Bella is not an affectionate dog, but has learned to eat from my
hand and once in a while will allow a tummy rub. She will not
allow a leash at this point and is frightened of being trapped.
Bella could be a rehabilitation "project" for the right person. She
will need a home that does not expect an immediate bond,
perhaps as a buddy for an existing canine in the household, but
also where she will need to rely more on a human for
companionship and play. Bella is spayed, de-wormed and
vaccinated and weighs 45 pounds.
Telly is a 1 1/2 year old male cocker cross. He is
very lovable and plays well with other dogs, loves
belly rubs and giving kisses and would love to be a
lap dog if he could get away with it. Telly is fairly
good on leash and likes his walks. He weighs
around 22 pounds. Telly does have a bark on the
shrill side but he doesn't bark very much. He would
do well in a home with other dogs to play with and
with someone to give him a home with lots of love
that he so deserves. Telly is neutered and
vaccinated.
