Adopt a Mexi-Mutt Original
Many people want to adopt an animal from Mexico because they have seen the tragic
conditions under  which they live and want to provide a loving home.
See our HOMES NEEDED page.
Education and Advocacy
is carried out before and during each
sterilization campaign.
Children receive colouring books
that promote humane treatment
of animals.  During the campaign a
health nurse will describe the benefits
of sterilizing your pets and the proper
care of their pet.
President of Amigos, Sandra Ward,
was recently nominated to a special
health committee on health
to the City of Guanajuato.

Rescue and Adoption
Hundreds of animals,
many of them ill from mange,
starvation or injury,
roam the streets of Guanajuato.
When we rescue and animal,
it is given a bath, treated for
parasites, and spayed or neutered,
and put up for adoption.
If the dog has mange the
treatment is more lengthy and
costly.  You can help us treat and
save more of these animals.
